Christmas Tree
We officially put up our Christmas tree yesterday! I know it's a little early but it was so fun :) The boys had a blast "helping" decorate it.... I think they were much better at un-decorating it though. Today Eli pulled the whole thing over and it fell on Ezra.... precisely why I have never put up a tree since having children. But for some reason I just couldn't resist the temptation of Christmas nostalgia this year. So off to Target we went and came home with a wonderful artificial tree that is fully bathed in ornaments from Josh's childhood. Ezra just loves turning the lights on and Eli just loves unplugging them! Undoubtedly the novelty will wear off for them in just a couple days (I hope). They had quite an orchestra going last night drumming on the tins that held all the decorations. Somehow Eli figured out how to bang two lids together like cymbals, the crashing noise was atrocious but the laughter was infectious. The little white snowman ended up in the toilet in less than two minutes, and both Joseph and Baby Jesus managed to lose their hands. It wasn't until Eli threw the big bucket tin off of Ezra's head that we had to call it quits and head off to bed whistling tunes about Rudolph while dreaming of a white Christmas....
